These Terms govern access to and use of the software and services offered through polbot.app ("POLBOT", "the software", "we"). By purchasing a license or downloading the software, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
POLBOT is automated trading software that the user installs and runs on their own machine ("self-hosted"). Using credentials the user provides, the software connects to third-party prediction-market platforms to execute operations according to configurable rules.
POLBOT is a software tool. It is not an investment-management service, a financial advisor, or a broker, and it is not part of nor affiliated with any third-party market platform.
The purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software. Payment grants access to the software; it does not include funds to trade nor guarantee access to any third-party platform.
The software runs on your machine. Your private keys, API keys and funds always stay under your control and are never transmitted to our servers. We have no access to, custody of, or ability to move your money at any time. You are solely responsible for the security of your credentials.
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. Decisions to trade and to switch from simulation (paper) to real mode are exclusively yours.
Prediction markets may be regulated, restricted or prohibited depending on jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to verify that using the software and trading on those platforms is legal where you live and to meet your tax obligations. You agree not to use the software for unlawful purposes.
We are not responsible for any money you lose or make using the bot. All trades are executed by the software with your funds according to your configuration, and are the user's sole decision and responsibility, including any tax consequences and the reporting of any gains or losses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for financial losses, lost profits, loss of funds, indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software, from third-party platform failures, the network or trading decisions. Our total liability is limited, at most, to the amount you paid for the license.
The software, the POLBOT brand, the site and its contents are protected by intellectual-property rights. The license does not transfer ownership to you, only a right of use under the terms described here.
We may publish updates and improvements to the software. We may modify or discontinue features, especially those that depend on third-party platforms or APIs beyond our control.
We may update these Terms. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its update date. Continued use of the software after a change implies acceptance.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and unless the applicable consumer regulations provide another venue, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals that apply under the law.
