How to copy a trader on Polymarket
Because Polymarket trades are public and on-chain, you can copy any wallet — you just need a tool that watches their activity and replicates it in your account.
1. Pick a trader
Browse the public leaderboard and profiles. Look for a consistent record over time, not one lucky week. Check how they trade: someone placing thousands of tiny bets is different from someone making a few large ones.
2. Copy their wallet address
Open their profile and copy their wallet address (the "Copy address" button). That address is what your copy tool follows.
3. Set your size
Decide what fraction of their size to mirror — for example 10% of what they move. A copy tool replicates each buy and sell at that scale, capped by your free capital.
4. Start in paper first
Run it in simulation for a while to see how the trader behaves before risking real money. Only go live once you understand the pattern — and remember you take on their risk, including their losses.
